Every Thursday I go down and every Thursday I am NOT disappointed. I order a (large) kebab and battered sausage with child cheesy chips. The child’s portion can beat me! Kebab is always amazing Misses loves the battered sausage. Most importantly the staff are not rude even when they are busy. Definitely would recommend 10/10.

Best fish & chips (cooked in beef dripping) and Kebabs in St Austell by far and the portions are huge. Friendly service, really clean premises. Often a queue out of the door, always the sign of a good takeaway. I wouldn’t go anywhere else

Been to francines a few times now and the food has always been great tried the kebabs and the fish and chips. Chips are cooked in beef dripping so not vegetarian but they taste amazing. the staff are always welcoming and friendly.

Food is made fresh so factor in a little wait time. The batter is made with beef dripping and is TO DIE FOR. One of the best battered fish I've ever had. Chips were great. Staff are polite, efficient, and smart looking.

Really good fish here! Chips are quite good too. Prices are in line with other local fish & chip shops. The place seems busy, its clean, well organised and the food is great so it's not surprising. There is not a huge amount of on street parking but there is a council owned carpark opposite.

A fantastic chippie, very popular, really well cooked food and plenty of choice. Definitely the best fish and chips we've had in a long time and very generous portions. We'll definitely be back in the future and very happy to recommend.

Large size portions, a bit too much for one person but plenty of you like to share. Fish was very tasty. Both fish and chips were cooked well. Good value for money and I will happily visit again.

Best Chippy by a long way in the South of Cornwall. All cooked in Beef dripping and all cooked fresh to order. Great sized portions, you will struggle to eat the large Cod and chips. I couldn't do it. 😆
